Project Cool for School –
Books for Homeless Children
Books for Homeless Children
Project Cool is an awesome program of the Seattle/King County Coalition on Homelessness. They fill 1,300 backpacks with donated school supplies, books, toothbrushes & toothpaste and more and distribute them to children who are homeless.
Alphabet Soup will be collecting books for donation to Project Cool for School. Purchase a book for donation to Project Cool for School and get 25% off your entire purchase! * We’ll also be collecting books for donation that are on the wish list.
For more information on their program & how to donate and volunteer, check out their Facebook page
* May not be combined with any other discount or sale.
Here is a wish list of suggested titles and approximate age groupings. The list is meant as a guide to get you browsing. Follow your instinct in choosing a book – if it is a book you would share with a child in your life, then it is a great book to donate to the Cool for School Project!
